Mobility coaching e-commerce and course platform for Tom Morrison

We have worked with Tom Morrison for years, building and then growing his online mobility coaching business. There are two halves to it: a shop selling programmes, bundles and merchandise to a global audience, and a customer dashboard behind the login where people actually work through what they have bought.

The challenge: selling is only half of it

Tom Morrison coaches mobility to an audience spread across the world, most of whom find him through video and then want to buy something at whatever hour it happens to be where they are.

Selling a digital programme is only half of it. People then have to watch the lessons, download the material and keep coming back, on whatever device is nearest, which is a product problem rather than a shop problem.

A global audience also means there is no quiet hour. Customers in over 130 countries buy and train at every time of day, so the platform has to hold up without anybody being awake to watch it.

The content keeps growing, too. Every new programme brings video, downloads and structure with it, and none of that could depend on us to publish, or the business would be waiting on an agency to release its own product.

Our approach: shop and dashboard

World renowned mobility coach Tom Morrison has been working with us for a number of years, bringing life changing mobility programmes to his clients across the globe.

The two run as one system. What Tom’s team publishes on the shop is what customers see behind the login, so a launch never needs doing twice.

The shop covers digital programmes, bundles and merchandise, and Tom's team run the whole of it themselves through a bespoke content management system. We keep working with them on the parts that move the numbers: promotions, seasonal sales and the route from landing on a blog post to owning a programme.

The dashboard is where a purchase turns into a routine. Video lessons and downloadable material for everything a customer owns, a workout tracker, and a goals section they tick off as they go, on whatever device is nearest at the time.

What we built for Tom Morrison

Everything here is run by Tom’s team, and holds up for customers training in over 130 countries at every hour of the day.

The shop

Digital programmes, bundles and merchandise, with the whole catalogue run by Tom’s team through a bespoke content management system.

The customer dashboard

Behind the login sits every programme a customer owns, with its video lessons and downloadable material, on whatever device is nearest at the time.

Workout tracker

A record of what a customer has actually done, which is the difference between a programme bought and a programme followed.

Goals and badges

A goals section customers tick off as they go, with badges for hitting them. It is a large part of why people come back rather than lapse.

Worldwide delivery

Video lessons and downloads served to customers in over 130 countries, at whatever hour it happens to be where they are.

Run by the team

Products, pricing, promotions and content are all managed in-house, so a launch never waits on us to publish it.

What Tom said

We have been working with Element Seven for a few years now since our first Wordpress website to grow our e-learning company. They have been so helpful in keeping with our brand of helping people with their mobility issues with an easy to use platform that is actually interactive and our customers love it!

We requested workout trackers, downloads and even a goals section that you can tick off and get badges for when you achieve certain tasks from the program! It is so good that customers of our End Range Training program often upsell our past customers that have our other programs on to it for us. Having tried so many other online platforms before the ideas that Element Seven presented to us where nothing like we had seen before and it is so easy for us to add and change things as we like in order to keep adding value.

I personally cannot recommend Element Seven enough as their attention to user experience and the support they offer has been such a driving force to what we have been able to accomplish! As someone that is not tech savvy they are a pleasure to work with and I never feel awkward about asking any questions if I don't personally understand something which is a big deal to me! No matter what we have as an idea, we know they will have the best ways to do it to hand and always give us realistic timelines and expectations.

Services on this project

Most of our clients use more than one.

01

Bespoke websites

Designed and built from scratch around your business rather than adapted from a template. Every page and every field is there because it earns its place.

02

E-commerce

Shops for physical stock, digital products and gift cards, with payments taken securely and stock that stays in step with the shop floor.

03

Web applications

Software that does a job for the business rather than describing it. Members platforms, custom admin software and internal tools built around how the work actually gets done.

04

AI integration

Chatbots, automations and internal tools wired into the systems you already run, answering from your own information rather than guessing.

05

Maintenance

Updates, backups and security handled quietly in the background, so problems are dealt with before they become urgent.
